New Children's Book Coming Soon!
A new children's book, The Girl Who Wore a Sweater on Her Head, will be available for purchase around the 1st of December of this year. It is a first hand account written by Petra International's Director of Women's Ministry, Tanya Cox, of her time in Uganda where she met a little nine year old girl named Ruth.

Here is the excerpt from the back of the book:
Why would a little girl wear a sweater on her head on the hottest day in Africa?
Miss Tanya had always dreamed of going to Uganda. When she finally arrives, she finds
red dirt roads, homemade toys, hippos and hundreds of smiling children shouting, "Hello Mzungu!" She has come to teach them about Jesus.
But in the back of her classroom, one little girl is singing her heart out, with a sweater
wrapped around her head. Her name is Ruth. She is nine years old, and she is hiding a secret that will change Miss Tanya's life forever.
Based on a true story from the author's time as a missionary, this beautifully illustrated
picture book helps children see that God's love reaches everyone, including those the
world pushes aside. Ruth's joyful faith gently shows young readers that Jesus never
abandons us, even when life is hard or sad.
Perfect for:
Bedtime reading and family devotions
Sunday school, VBS and missions lessons
Talking with children about faith, illness and heaven
Includes real photos of Miss Tanya and Ruth.
Be ready soon to share this unforgettable story of friendship, courage and trust with the children you love.
